Three school counsellors are set to depart next week to pursue their Masterโ€™s degrees in Clinical Psychology at Sharda University in India. Their scholarships are fully supported by the Royal Government of Bhutan and the Government of India. The program is part of the 13th Five-Year Plan’s initiatives to strengthen the Continuous Professional Development of School Counsellors across the country.

The selected counsellors are Sangay Wangchuk from Punakha HSS, Rinchen Dorji from Gedu HSS and Anju Chhetri from Darla HSS.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all three counsellors as they embark on this important academic journey. Their advanced knowledge in clinical psychology is expected to significantly enhance school-based counselling services and contribute to improved student well-being upon their return.
