On February 11, The Hon’ble Lyonpo visited the renovation site of the Yonphula Specialized Rehabilitation School at Yonphula in Trashigang.
On the closing day of the 20th Batch of Scout Leadership Training at Karmaling HSS, The Hon’ble Lyonpo met with 116 students, comprising 53 boys and 63 girls. In her address, Lyonpo highlighted the importance of the values they had learned, such as leadership, self-discipline, and teamwork. She emphasized the need for the scouts to embrace these principles, urging them to prepare themselves for future leadership roles. Lyonpo also stressed the significance of becoming positive role models in their communities, encouraging the students to lead by example. The event served as a moment of reflection and inspiration, motivating the students as they concluded their training.
On her way to Trashigang, The Hon’ble Lyonpo met Tashi Dema, the national topper of Class VI from Moshi Primary School, along with the school’s Principal, teachers, and Tashi’s mother. Lyonpo congratulated Tashi on her outstanding academic achievement and encouraged her to continue setting a positive example for her peers. She emphasized the importance of striving for excellence, inspiring other students to follow in her footsteps.
On the evening of the 8th, The Hon’ble Lyonpo addressed the DEOs/TEOs from 20 Dzongkhags in Phuntsholing, emphasizing the importance of working collaboratively to advance the quality of education for the betterment of the country.

She highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts among teachers, students, parents, and the government to create a positive and supportive learning environment. Lyonpo encouraged the Principals to lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within their schools.
