The Hon’ble Lyonpo for Education and Skills Development met with Dr. Heather Wilson, President of the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), USA, and her team yesterday.
During the meeting, Lyonpo shared the Ministry’s priority areas, including national curriculum development, STEM education, internet connectivity and skilling. The discussion also explored possible collaboration through exchange programs for students and faculty members, creating opportunities for learners and educators to gain new perspectives and share knowledge.
Dr. Wilson and her team are in Bhutan from October 17–24 to meet key partners and relevant government officials.
