The Department of Workforce Planning and Skills Development (DWPSD) under the Ministry of Education and Skills Development (MoESD) is pleased to inform all interested and eligible Bhutanese under the purview of MoESD (non-civil servants) that online application for Australia Awards Scholarships, for study commencing in 2027 is open from 1 February 2026 and will close on 30 April 2026. These scholarships are offered for pursuing both masters level programs by coursework/research at a tertiary institution in Australia.

For obtaining the Nomination Letter from the DWPSD, MoESD, please, submit duly filled In-service HRD form along with documents mentioned in the form to the DWPSD office located at Kawajangsa, Gerab Khanzang, 3rd Floor, in person or by email at spld@moesd.gov.bt / tgyeltshen@moesd.gov.bt. The Nomination letter will be provided w.e.f the date of this announcement till 29 th April 2026 in accordance with the HRD Rules and Regulation for the Non- civil Service Sectors of MoESD.
Therefore, the applicants must fulfil the following criteria:
- Minimum of two years of work experience with the nominating agency at the time of application;
- Relevant qualification, and
- Relevant current work profile/experience to the field of study.
