Mission

To provide transparent, accountable and efficient financial management services to support the mission of the Ministry on delivering essential public services.

Mandates

Develop the Ministry’s budget in alignment with government priorities, allocating resources effectively and providing guidance on budget execution.

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Establish and maintain internal controls to prevent waste and ensure compliance and accountability.

Conduct financial analysis to evaluate program effectiveness, assess financial performance and support divisions processes.

Collaborate with other government agencies, departments and stakeholders to promote efficiency, consistency and best practices in financial management.
