Mr. Pio Smith, the Regional Director for UNFPA Asia and Pacific called on the Hon’ble Education and Skills Development Minister yesterday.
The meeting highlighted UNFPA’s significant contributions in the education sector and reaffirmed the mutual commitment of both parties to further strengthen their partnership.
This is Mr. Smith’s first visit to Bhutan who is in the country from March 3-8 accompanied by Ms. Andrea M. Wojnar, the UNFPA Country Director for India and Bhutan.
