The Ministry of Education and Skills Development is pleased to announce the invitation for applications for the Australia Awards Scholarship for Special Education Needs (SEN) Teachers and Counsellors, commencing in 2026. This scholarship offers an opportunity for professionals in the field to pursue studies in two priority areas: Mental Health and Special Education. SEN Teachers and Counsellors who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply.
The online application portal will be open from 1 February to 30 April 2025. To support interested applicants, free virtual Scholarship Information Sessions will be conducted every Thursday and Friday throughout February and March 2025. These sessions will provide valuable insights into the application process, eligibility requirements, and study opportunities under the scholarship program.

The first virtual Scholarships Information Session is scheduled on 8 Feb’2025 (Saturday) on Microsoft Teams at 11:00 am. Meeting link will be shared in the existing social media forum of the respective SEN teachers and counsellors.
