A ten-member delegation from the European Parliament, led by His Excellency Mr. Serban Dimitrie Sturdza, Chair of the Delegation for Relations with the Countries of South Asia (DSAS), paid a courtesy call on the Hon’ble Education and Skills Development Minister today.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the European Union’s continued support to Bhutan’s education sector, particularly in advancing the digitalisation of education and promoting technology-enabled learning. Discussions also covered Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), potential collaboration in education scholarships, and other areas of mutual interest.
The delegation is in the country from September 20 to 27 to attend the 9th Inter-Parliamentary Meeting.
