Nine school counsellors have joined the Samtse College of Education under the Royal University of Bhutan to pursue a two-year Master of Arts in Contemplative Counselling (MACC) programme.
The programme marks a significant milestone in strengthening school counselling services in the country. It also provides an important opportunity for them to strengthen their professional competencies, enhance their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and deepen their knowledge and skills in supporting students’ mental health, emotional wellbeing, and holistic development.
