A total of 213 new graduates on July 2, took the Oath of Allegiance at the Grand Kuen-ray in Tashicho Dzong, marking the official beginning of their service to the Tsa-Wa-Sum as teachers.
The graduates, selected through the BCSE 2024 and having successfully completed the 18-month Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) programme at Paro College of Education and Samtse College of Education, pledged to dedicate themselves to educating and nurturing the nation’s future generations.
The solemn ceremony was graced by His Eminence Leytshog Lopen of the Zhung Dratshang, alongside officials from the Royal Civil Service Commission and the Ministry.
The oath-taking ceremony signifies more than the start of a professional career. It represents a lifelong commitment to serve with integrity, uphold the values of gratitude and responsibility, and inspire young minds through quality education.
