Press Release
The mountains are calling, and the Bhutan Scouts Association is answering with a historic invitation. For the first time, the doors to the Land of the Thunder Dragon are open to international Scouts. Set against the pristine and breathtaking backdrop of Paro, this landmark event will bring together Scouts from 13 nations across Asia to experience the spirit of Bhutan. We are honored to extend this invitation to our partners in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Japan, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Each activity is thoughtfully designed to foster personal growth, strengthen people to people connections, and create lifelong memories. Over five days, participants will explore scenic trails, take on outdoor challenges, build friendships through shared stories, and contribute to meaningful community service initiatives. The program will also provide a platform to engage in dialogue on emerging issues, including the environment and climate change.
This is a rare opportunity to experience the serene beauty of Paro while contributing to a global legacy of unity and service. As a participant, you will not only visit Bhutan, but become an integral part of its first ever National Scout Jamboree, carrying forward the values of friendship, leadership, and adventure that transcend borders.
