Bhutan Scouts Association is pleased to officially unveil the identity logo of the National Scout Jamboree 2026, making an important milestone in the lead-up to one of the most significant Scouting events in Bhutan.

The National Scout Jamboree 2026 will be held from 26-30 May 2026 at the National Scout Centre, Paro, under the theme: “Celebrating the 70th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty The Fourth Druk Gyalpo: 70 Years of Inspiration.” The Jamboree will bring together about 500 Scouts, Adult Leaders and volunteers, including international participants, creating a powerful platform for cultural exchange, leadership development, teamwork, service and outdoor learning. It stands as one of the most important gatherings in the history of Scouting in Bhutan.

A Journey of Ascent

The identity of the National Scout Jamboree 2026 is inspired by the concept of “A Journey of Ascent.” The logo is rooted in a deep reverence for the natural world. At its core, this logo embodies the spirit of rising. The central Scout figure serves as a proxy for every participant, illustrating that growth is forged through effort, teamwork, and resilience. This upward ascent is not just a physical challenge; it is a profound journey toward purpose, happiness, and self-realization.

By placing this journey within the majestic mountains of Bhutan, the design gains deeper significance. The landscape acts as a mentor rather than a backdrop, teaching Scouts patience, strength, and a profound respect for nature. This connection to the environment is foundational to the identity of the Jamboree. It serves as a quiet but powerful call to stewardship: as Scouts rise to meet their potential, they are reminded of their responsibility to protect our shared planet and to actively engage with the challenges of climate change. Ultimately, the logo illustrates that personal development and global responsibility are inseparable—to climb is to care.

The design is guided by three core values:

  • Leadership: stepping forward with courage and initiative
  • Service: contributing selflessly to others
  • Mindfulness: staying grounded and present in all actions
