The Scouts and Sports Division, Department of Education Programs (DEP), is pleased to officially unveil the identity logo of the National Scout Jamboree 2026, marking an important milestone in the lead-up to one of the most significant Scouting events in Bhutan.

The National Scout Jamboree 2026 will be held from 26th to 30th May 2026 at the National Scout Centre, Paro, under the theme: “Celebrating the 70th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty The Fourth Druk Gyalpo: 70 Years of Inspiration.

The Jamboree will bring together over 500 Scouts, Adult Leaders and volunteers, along with international participants, creating a powerful platform for cultural exchange, leadership development, teamwork, service and outdoor learning. It stands as one of the most important gatherings in the history of Scouting in Bhutan.

A Journey of Ascent

The identity of the National Scout Jamboree 2026 is inspired by the concept of “A Journey of Ascent.” The logo reflects the spirit of growth, resilience and transformation that defines the Scouting experience.

At its centre, a Scout figure symbolizes every participant, representing a journey shaped by effort, teamwork and perseverance. Set against Bhutan’s majestic mountains, the design emphasizes that personal growth is deeply connected to nature, where the landscape becomes a teacher of patience, strength and respect for the environment.

This identity also reinforces a key message of the Jamboree: as Scouts rise in their personal journey, they are reminded of their responsibility toward the planet and the urgent need for environmental stewardship. In this sense, to climb is to care, and personal development and global responsibility are inseparable.

Design and Values

The emblem-style logo reflects the pride and identity of Scouting. It is anchored by a warm Bhutanese earth-toned outer frame, symbolizing connection to land and culture. At its core, a bold blue diamond represents strength, focus and unity.

The design is guided by three core Scouting values:

  • Leadership: stepping forward with courage and initiative
  • Service: contributing selflessly to others
  • Mindfulness: staying grounded and present in all actions
