The Department of Workforce Planning and Skills Development is pleased to announce the
TVET Fair 2026, aimed at promoting Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)
with the theme “Skills for Life, Skills for the Future.”
The Fair will provide an opportunity for students, youth, parents, and the general public to
explore industry-relevant skills, green and future-oriented occupations, and career pathways
through interactive exhibitions, live skills demonstrations, and career guidance services.
The TVET Fair will be held in the following locations:
● Thimphu (Clock-Tower) – 23 March 2026
● Dagana (Daga Central School) – 25 March 2026
● Bumthang (Chamkhar Town) – 27 March 2026
● Trashigang (Trashigang MSS) – 30 March 2026
The interested individuals are warmly invited to attend and engage with training providers,
industry representatives, and skilled professionals.
