The 21st National Education Conference concluded successfully at Baylling Central School in Trashiyangtse with the Honโble Lyonpo and Dasho Secretary gracing the occasion on January 29.
Held from January 27 to 29, the conference featured two days of pre-conference sessions, followed by the main conference that addressed key issues, policy directions and recommendations aimed at further strengthening Bhutanโs education system.
The event was held under the theme โAdvancing Bhutanโs Education and Skilling for 21st Century Learning.โ It was attended by around 200 participants including Dzongkhag and Thromde Education Officers, principals, vice-principals, teachers, Ministry officials and other key stakeholders.
Organised by the Ministry in collaboration with the Trashi Yangtse Dzongkhag Administration, the conference served as a national platform for dialogue and collaboration on addressing emerging learning needs, meeting workforce requirements and aligning education reforms with Bhutanโs long-term national priorities.
The conference concluded with participants reaffirming their collective commitment to implement the shared recommendations and work together to enhance Bhutanโs education system.
