The three-day 21st National Education Conference commenced today at Bayling Central School in Trashiyangtse Dzongkhag, bringing together more than 200 participants from across the country.

The conference is attended by school principals, District Education Officers (DEOs), and officials from the Ministry of Education and Skills Development, among other key stakeholders in the education sector.

Held under the theme “Advancing Bhutan’s Education and Skilling for 21st Century Learning,” the conference provides a national platform for dialogue on strengthening the education system to respond to evolving learning needs, workforce demands, and long-term national priorities.

The conference is being organised by the Ministry of Education and Skills Development, in collaboration with Trashi Yangtse Dzongkhag Administration, and will continue over the next three days with plenary sessions, thematic discussions, and consultations.
