On December 18, the Honโ€™ble Lyonpo met with the public of Sang-ngag-chhoeling and Namgaychhoeling gewogs in Samtse for an interactive session.

During the meeting, Lyonpo updated the community on the significant progress in the education sector. Key highlights included the establishment of Yoeseltse Central School which is expected to serve students from both gewogs along with enhancements to the school feeding program and other facilities being provided to improve learning outcomes. Lyonpo also shared updates on insurance coverage, data package, check post, pension schemes for senior citizens and budget.

Further interacting with the public, Lyonpo listened to their concerns, particularly the access routes that have been severely affected by flooding. Lyonpo assured them that these issues would be addressed and that all planned development initiatives are progressing as scheduled.

Enroute to Thimphu on December 19, Lyonpo visited Thinley Pelbar Printers Pvt. Ltd in Samtse which is equipped with modern printing technology.

Lyonpo toured Samtse from December 16-19 during which she attended the 118th National Day celebration, visited the Samtse Day Care Center and met with the public as part of continued efforts to strengthen community engagement and service delivery.
