The Ministry of Education and Skills Development is pleased to welcome Phub Rinzin as the Director General of the Department of Workforce Planning and Skills Development, (DWPSD).
Prior to assuming this role, he served as the Dzongdag of Wangduephodrang Dzongkhag, where he led numerous developmental initiatives and strengthened public service delivery. He also served as the Dzongdag of Trongsa Dzongkhag, contributing to national development through effective leadership and administrative excellence.
His strong technical background, combined with years of executive-level leadership, positions him well to steer the Department toward enhancing Bhutanโs human capital and aligning the skills ecosystem with national priorities.
