A โMeet TVETโ program was conducted at Samtengang Central School on November 22 to create awareness among students about Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
A team from the Technical Training Institute, Samthang highlighted the diverse courses, trades and career pathways offered by the 10 TVET institutes, emphasising their relevance to future employment and national development. The interactive session not only introduced students to practical training opportunities but also inspired them to consider technical education as a meaningful option for their career growth.
An automotive technology demonstration and a live skills session by Hair & Beauty Therapy trainees further enriched the program.
The event was well received, marking an important step in bridging the gap between school education and vocational prospects.
