A three-day Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) training was conducted from August 25-27 in Samdrupjongkhar through the youth center engaging 25 out-of-school youth.

The training was aimed to strengthen participantsโ€™ knowledge and competencies on critical aspects of sexuality, relationships, safety, health and overall well-being. The sessions encompassed a comprehensive range of topics including values, human rights, gender, sexual and reproductive health and mental health.

The sessions were facilitated by the Programme and Youth Coordination Division, along with two Y-PEER members from the Jigme Namgyel Engineering College, who contributed through peer-to-peer education and interactive learning approaches.

The program concluded with a reaffirmed commitment from the youth participants to utilise the knowledge and skills acquired, and contribute towards fostering healthy, respectful and responsible behaviours within their communities.
