The Bhutan Summer Skills Program 2025 concluded on August 1 celebrating the graduation of 12 international participants from countries including Vietnam, Thailand, Canada, the UK and Israel. Over the course of three enriching weeks, students immersed themselves in traditional Bhutanese embroidery, painting and cuisine.
The program offered more than just skills training; it was a journey into the heart of Bhutan. Participants explored breathtaking landscapes, visited sacred cultural sites and experienced the country’s unique way of life. Their days were filled with colour, flavour and discovery making memories that extended far beyond the classroom.
Reflecting on their time in Bhutan, students shared their joy and gratitude for the opportunity. According to one of the participants, “It is one of the best decisions I have ever made. It brought me the most incredible experience of my life.”
The program was organised by the Department of Workforce Planning and Skills Development at the National Institute for Zorig Chusum and Royal Institute for Tourism and Hospitality.
