We are pleased to welcome Nar Bahadur Raika as the new Controller of Examinations under the Bhutan Council for School Examinations and Assessment. Prior to this appointment, he served as a Specialist with the Bhutan Qualifications and Professionals Certification Authority.
He began his career in education in 1988 as a teacher. Over the years, he has taken on key roles including Lecturer, Chief Program Officer and Specialist.
He holds a master’s degree from the University of Newcastle in Australia, an Advanced Diploma from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom and a bachelor’s degree from the Samtse College of Education.
The Ministry extends its heartfelt congratulations to him on his new appointment. As he brings along a wealth of experience, we look forward to his successful leadership in the education sector.
