A three-day Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) training was conducted from May 8-10 at the Gelephu Youth Center engaging 32 out-of-school youth from the region. The training aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills on key topics related to sexuality, relationships, safety, health and well-being.
The program covered a wide range of CSE components including values, rights, gender, sexual and reproductive health and mental health. The training concluded with a strong commitment from the youth participants to share the knowledge gained and promote healthy, respectful behaviour within their communities.
The training was conducted by the Programme and Youth Coordination Division of Department of Education Programmes. It was facilitated by senior members from Y-PEER Bhutan
The training was supported by UNFPA in Bhutan.
