On April 8, the Hon’ble Lyonpo met with DEOs/TEOs, principals and CLC instructors along with teachers and students of Punakha Central School. 

In a brief but meaningful conversation with class XI and XII students, Lyonpo shared valuable words of wisdom urging them to embrace the holistic aspects of education. She touched upon the critical issues such as teenage pregnancy and substance use emphasising the long-term effects these challenges could have on their futures. She encouraged them to prioritise their well-being and focus on their academic and personal growth.

Addressing the team of educators, Lyonpo acknowledged their crucial role in shaping the future of Bhutan. She shared the concerns and challenges currently affecting the school environment and highlighted strategies to create a more supportive learning environment for students. She emphasised the need to adapt to the evolving needs of students ensuring that both academic excellence and emotional well-being are prioritised in the school environment. 

Additionally, she encouraged educators to serve as role models for their students and lead by example in both their professional and personal conduct.
