Empowering out-of-school youths on Comprehensive Sexuality Education

Twenty-four out-of-school youths including 7 boys and 17 girls are attending a 5-day workshop on Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) in Thimphu. The main objective of the workshop is to empower young people by equipping them with appropriate knowledge and skills related to Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).

The workshop is expected to not only help them but also engage them at the Youth Centres as advocates of SRHR. They would be rolling out the programme to other young people through the centres.

With fund support from UNFPA in Bhutan, it is being organized by the Programme and Youth Coordination Division of the Department of Education Programmes and will conclude on April 21.
