Advocacy & Sensitisation Program

With schools in the country preparing for contact teaching in the schools from 2021, the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Ministry of Health will be carrying out advocacy, sensitization, and orientation of the education officers, school heads & Health Coordinators of 609 schools using online services from 25th – 27th January 2021. This is also to supplement the safety standard operating procedures (SoPs) and checklist sent to schools by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health, for safety of the students, teachers, other education personnel, and parents/guidance opening of schools from February 2021 following COVID-19 prevention protocols.
