Bhutan marks World Mental Health Day
Bhutan celebrated World Mental Health Day yesterday in Thimphu under the national theme, ‘Mental Health for All: A Multisectoral Approach for People-Centred Mental Health Care and Services.’
The event graced by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Dr Lotay Tshering called for the need to strengthen a multi-sectoral approach to prevent and focus on people-centred mental health care. It also highlighted the global and regional perspectives and the need to make mental health resources more accessible to all.
