TVET Fair in Samtse kicks offThe TVET Fair 2024 in Samtse kicked off on Octcober 2 offering a unique platform for students, youth and job seekers to explore a wide range of career opportunities and skills in the growing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector. The two-day event will highlight TVET as a promising career option for Bhutanese The fair features exhibitions from ten technical training institutes showcasing over 50 courses in arts and crafts, agriculture, culinary and other technical areas with live demonstrations. In addition to exploring the courses, participants will have the opportunity to enroll for courses on the spot. They can also receive firsthand information on employment and entrepreneurship opportunities, labor market trends and career guidance Organised by the Department of Workforce Planning and Skills Development, and the BEST project, it is also scheduled to be held in Zhemgang on October 5 and Mongar on October 8.
